About Terry Lynne

I am a 24-year resident of Farmers Branch and a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas. I attended Calliet Elementary School, Cary Junior High and Thomas Jefferson High School. I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Management.

After college, I worked for seven years in industrial sales selling Pressure Sensitive Materials and EMI/RFI Shielding primarily to the defense industry.

I then changed careers and went into radio advertising sales where for 25 years I sold and managed sales staffs for operators such as ABC/Disney, Bonneville International, CBS/Infinity Broadcasting and Service Broadcasting.

Currently, I am owner and President of Time-Out Sports, Inc. which is a multi-dimensional media company with three divisions…

Before running for City Council, I invested my time to learn how various city departments operate. If I was going to be in charge of the budgets for the Police and Fire Departments I needed to better understand how they work. I took both our Citizens Police Academy and Citizen Fire Academy.

I have also served on numerous boards such as the Metrocrest Hospital Authority, the Dallas County District Attorney Advisory Board, The FBI Dallas Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Thomas Jefferson High School Alumni Association, St. Monica Dads Club, and am involved with a variety of civic organizations.
